An architectural and musical gathering point for sunrise and sunset.

A modular wooden structure designed by Burning Man artist, Gregg Fleishman, Solar Stage is made for climbing and exploring. With a packed program of musical performances, it truly comes alive twice a day.

At sunset, a celebratory soundtrack brings people together to spark inspiration and parades. At sunrise, Wonderers observe the revitalising ritual of welcoming a new day to uplifting, eclectic sounds.

Wonder Facts

Gregg’s smart and sustainable design for a structure without nuts and bolts allows us to reformat Solar Stage each year. In 2019 you’ll see a nod to its first iteration in The Fields, but with more shade, plenty to climb and spaces to snuggle.

Fun fact: Solar Stage is the only music destination open during sunrise in The Fields. At that magical hour, we turn everything else off and our iconic honeycomb structure becomes a beacon for early risers and those still awake.
