General Camping

Camping under the stars just steps from wonder

Bring your own camping experience to The Fields by pitching your tent in the heart of General Camping. Come early and pick the perfect spot in one of the many shaded areas, where you’ll rest surrounded by nature. Set up a mini village with your crew or make new friends in this special community of Wonderers.

Campers have access to several conveniences including custom-built communal showers and restrooms, as well as charging and water refill stations. When you’re ready to explore Wonderfruit, you’ll emerge at the quieter upper parts of The Fields, next to Enfold and Wonder Kitchen, just within sight of our Mother Tree.

General Camping opens at 4pm on Thursday 11 December 2025.

Tents are not provided in General Camping. You will need to bring your own camping gear.
There are no tents available for rent but you can check other accommodation options that might work better for you.
You can only set up your tent in the designated General Camping village and you'll need a General Camping wristband to enter that village.

Space in the General Camping village is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The following items are prohibited at Wonderfruit and in General Camping:
  • Alcohol or illegal drugs
  • Outside food or drinks other than baby formula or food
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Drones
  • Selfie sticks
  • Native American headdresses
  • Hoverboards
  • Bicycles, skateboards or rollerblades
  • Glass bottles or other glass containers
  • Single-use plastic
  • Animals of any kind other than dogs with a ticketed Dog Pass
The General Camping fee covers the costs of facilities within the General Camping village, including areas like dedicated bathrooms, showers and drinking water refill stations.
Know that Wonderfruit entertainment goes until the early hours of the morning and your camping area may be close to loud music, so earplugs may be handy.
No, tent trucks or campervans aren't allowed in the area.
