We’ve listened to concerns and questions from our communities, especially from Wonderers traveling on their own. If you’re a solo Wonderer who’s traveling light, you might not have the right gear to stay in General Camping, but also might not want to book an entire Pavilion Tent for yourself.
Last year, we responded to these requests by introducing and trialing Shared Tents for the first time, ensuring that people could sleep closer to wonder and enjoy all the benefits of communal luxury at a more accessible, mid-range price.
This year, in response to positive feedback to people who stayed in The Fields, we’re bringing back Shared Tents. We’ve expanded the range of tents, so people traveling alone can access the full range of what Boutique Camping has to offer.
More comfort for solo Wonderers
Sleep in a real single bed with a cloud-soft mattress, sharing an air-conditioned tent with two other Wonderers. There’s plenty of space for all your belongings, including personal lock boxes to securely store things away. You’ll also have access to little luxuries like hotel-style, complimentary toiletries, towels, linens and real, permanent restrooms and showers.
This year, we’re also introducing more options for Wonderers. You can now choose from Shared Bell Tents (roomy and air-conditioned) or Shared Pavilion Tents (fully-shaded from the Thai sun beneath artisanal roofs).
Here’s what every guest in a Shared Tent can expect:
1 single bed in a shared 3-bed tent with AC
Sleeps 1 guest for 4 nights
Check-in/out: 11 Dec at 12pm / 15 Dec at 12pm
Exclusive restaurant and bar
Custom-built shared restrooms with showers
24-hour reception
Access for 1 to Boutique Camping
Make new friends in the Boutique Camping village
Shared Tents are also a great way to meet fellow Wonderers. We’ve heard reports that the atmosphere in Boutique Camping is warm, welcoming and a great place to meet like-minded Wonderers. It’s a perfect way to keep the magic and sense of community in Wonderfruit going—but at a slower, lower scale.
Outside of the friends you’ll make in your Shared Tent, there’s also a hub of socialization at the guest-only restaurant and bar, featuring menus only available in Boutique Camping. There’s plenty of spaces to lounge and relax, including next to the nearby lake, as well as specially curated activities.
